An emotion indelible
Bolzano's markets are a unique spectacle, displaying fresh fruit and vegetables in season. Shopping is a pleasant ritual among market stands and benches. Bolzano has been a trading city since the Middle Ages. For 120 years, people have waited until 30th April to go and buy flowers and plants for their balconies in Walther square, and autumn for the brightly coloured pumpkins. And the Christmas market? It's the best in Italy because Advent is simply fascinating in Bolzano.
